Many folks are afraid to attend a new church because they aren’t sure what to expect when they first visit. We want you to feel at home when you visit us for the first time. Here’s what you’ll find when you come to Regency:

  • When you arrive at Regency, you’ll be greeted warmly by one or more members of our church family who will gladly guide you to the right worship locations for you and your family. If you have children under 3 years old, we will direct you to our nursery, where caring staff will lovingly watch over your children during the service.
  • Either before the service or during the announcements, one of the ushers will give you a brochure with information about our church and a pen. Inside the brochure will be a white guest card, and we would appreciate you taking a moment to fill out the card and either place it in the offering plate when it is passed by during the service or give it to the pastor or one of the ushers when you leave. Please keep both the brochure and the pen as our gift to remind you of your visit with us.
  • Our services are best described as “traditional”, meaning the songs we sing during the worship service and other music that is played or sung are scripturally accurate, conservative in presentation, edifying, and honoring to the Lord. Our church enjoys our congregational singing time in which we sing the well-beloved hymns from hymnbooks.
  •  We use the King James Version of the Bible for all preaching and teaching at each service. If you do not have a Bible, we have extra copies available in the hymn racks of the seats in front of you that you can use to follow along during the service. Feel free to take one of our copies of the Bible home with you if you wish.
  • At the end of the Sunday Morning and Sunday Evening services, the pastor will give an invitation. This is an opportunity for those who would like to trust Christ as their Savior or for Christians who have other spiritual decisions to make (for example, rededication to Christ, a need to be baptized, or joining the church membership) to come forward and publicly make those decisions. If you would like spiritual counseling, please come forward at that time and let the pastor know.
  • Our services start promptly at the times mentioned on our Service Times page. Generally speaking, the services on Sunday morning and evening last about an hour and ten minutes. Wednesday evening services are usually finished around 8:00PM.
